This work depicts the ancient traditional gods Tangaroa. In keeping with it’s partner piece (Bouquets in the Summer) the inspiration has been the vibrant tropical flora that surrounds us. 

Further to this that we remember the importance of living plant life and the beauty of nature. Which at times can go by unnoticed. On another level the work speaks about growth, furthermore that it is only with care, love and dedication that we flourish.
